Keira gets married at Millbrook winery

With eight blissful years under their belts, Keira and Nic didn’t need a formal engagement to agree to marry one another, with their wedding always being a question of when, not if, for the happy couple. Choosing the picturesque tasting room at Millbrook Winery for the occasion, Keira and Nic tied the knot in front of the room’s magical fireplace, surrounded

by a small wedding party of their closest loved ones. Deciding against a traditional white dress, Keira looked breathtaking in a gorgeous Greek gown from Zolotas Australia,

featuring elegant organic cotton lace, tinged with gold thread that sparkled in the light, and an ivory veil with a matching gold lace trim. The groom looked dashing in a tweed

jacket – a nod to his Scottish birthplace – and a gold bowtie to complement the overall

theme of the day. Crafty Keira created many of the decorations herself and even the bridal party bouquets, which were constructed with glass lanterns, foliage from her own garden and fairy lights. With their two-year-old son Antoine involved in the ceremony,

Keira and Nic saw the occasion as a celebration of the life the couple had already built together, rather than the start of a new chapter for this gorgeous little family.

“If you’re making anything yourself, try to keep it simple. This will preserve the beauty of the venue – and your sanity”
